Mangalore: On August, 26, 2019 on the occasion of decennial celebrations of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Bishop Dr Jerala Iaac Lobo bishop of Udupi diocese, Holy Mass was celebrated in the chapel. Dr Jerala Iaac Lobo is the main celebrants of the thanks giving mass. In his solemnly Bishop stressed on the importance of caring the poor and destitute. He appealed to the people to have more social concern and to be generous towards fellow human beings. Priests from Mangaluru diocese, religious sisters and devotees attended the Mass.
The formal Stage programme was started at 11.15 am Bro Joseph Crasta welcomed with the plant and gave brief about Snehalaya. Rev Fr Ignatius Monteiro delivered a message about his experience at Snehalaya and said It is very difficult to construct an institution by an individual. But when ten hands come together, it becomes easy and the goal is achieved. So it is my kind request to all generous people to strengthen the hands of Joseph."
We had conducted 17 competitions to our residence the winners are encouraged by giving prize. Prize distribution was done by Bishop Dr Jerald Iaac Lobo. Presently 44 staff working for Snehalaya they are honored by giving token of love by Bishop.
Bishop Dr Jerald Iaac Lobo honord by trustees of Snehalaya and he delivered message and said Joseph Crasta is only an instrument of God. He is led by the divine spirit. Almighty knows the burdens and problems of his creatures. He decides how to help them. Here he has chosen Joseph to take care of his creatures. Snehalaya is rendering service without any bias of caste and religion. We all know the charity works of this institution. We are proud to say that such institution is situated in our surroundings. I congratulate Joseph and his team for completion of ten years of service and wish them a bright future and he said Joseph is the right person to honor and bishop honored to Bro Joseph Crasta.
