Noc.19: “Past 450 years have passed with the blessings of Our Lady of Holy Rosary this Jubilee celebration should make us more humane in relating to the people” said Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha here at Rosario Cathedral, Mangalore. He was addressing the gathering on the occasion of 450 year of Jubilee celebrations here at Rosario Cathedral. Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop Emeritus of Mangalore Diocese, Msgr. Maxim Noronha the vicar general, V. Rev Fr Stanislaus D’Souza SJ, Sri UT khaddar, Dist. In charge and urban development Minister, Oscar Fernandes, were the chief Guests of the programmes.





















On this occasion of Jubilee Mr Oscar Fernandes the member of Raja Sabha, released a special stamp of Rosario Cathedral. Various projects of the 450 years were inaugurated. A cheque of 1 lack was handed over to the SVP unite of the parish by the Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D Souza the Bishop Emeritus purpose of repairing the houses of the poor. Sri UT khaddar, Dist. In charge and urban development Minister handed over financial help to 10 poor families’ for acquiring title deeds. Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated a medical fund for the parish and a cheque of Rs 4.5 lakhs to the director of Prison Ministry India of the diocese of Mangalore   to set free and to rehabilitate the prisoners.
